Wednesday this week brings us Earth Day. And we're all at home.

Can you imagine the 50th anniversary of Earth Day will be celebrated mostly at home and online? Of course, it seems fitting. We're giving Mother Earth a break.

We can't travel right now - so we have to keep dreamin'. (See above video.) After helping traveling clients return home safely, and then cancelling and rebooking holidays for others (some of which is still going on), I’m now helping inspire people. And, the inspiration will continue with things we can do to mark Earth Day digitally this year.

The allure of travel gives us all hope. And giving Mother Earth this time to heal will get us focused on traveling more responsibly when we're able.

We can savour this time and think about dream trips. I’m helping with zoom calls for virtual cocktails and dance parties, sharing resources for pasta-making classes or online museum tours, and sharing virtual expeditions to the Galapagos or Tanzania. We all have to maximize our return on life – and you can dream today, and travel tomorrow.

But you can celebrate and mark Earth Day from home this year. On April 22nd, Earth Day goes digital. You can take the Earth Day Challenge. You can sign up for 24 hours of action, and there are 22 actions that you can do now from home.
