Stanely Tucci's "Searching for Italy"

Hey there - did you watch a show (or dozen) of "Somebody Feed Phil" last week?
I heard from several dozen people thanking me for the recommendation. It's on Netflix, and the Lisbon show really got me hooked. See http://www.lushlife.ca/lisbon/ If you want something fun and light, that will make you smile, and make you extremely eager to be on a plane again, give it a watch. He has 4 seasons in the Netflix offerings, so you can watch his foodie travel shows to Vietnam,
Bangkok, New Orleans, Mexico, and beyond.
And since all of us are still home, and watching Netflix and new series, let me give another foodie travel show recommendation this week - Stanley Tucci's "Searching for Italy."
The show premiered last Sunday at 9 pm est on CNN. I pvr'ed it, and watched it last night - and I LOVED it.
Of course, I love Stanley Tucci. (Have you seen the movie "The Big Night" - it was a favourite of my father-in-law.) And during the pandemic, Stanley kept us all amused with his Negroni and other cocktail recipes. See

I have some clients booked on a trip with one of my western colleagues at Vision Travel. My colleague, Kim, put together a really special group to visit the Northern Lights in Northwest Territories this March. Unfortunately, it's unlikely air and land restrictions will be lifted in time for us to enjoy in 2021 (at least with air schedules), so we've made the difficult decision to move to 2022.
Anyone who had been booked on this small group with a re-known Canadian wildlife photographer, Dr. Wayne Lynch, around the Equinox for March 18-23, 2021 has been moved to 2022. Everyone moved who could. And given the demand, Kim and Wayne have agreed to do a second week.
So, we've added a second week - kindly note the 2nd departure for March 24-29, 2022. We have to reconfirm pricing for 2022, but this second week won't last long. So, if you were on the fence in doing it in 2021, now you have another option to go in 2022.
Kim and Wayne have designed the trip to align with the Equinox to see the Northern Lights in Yellowknife (one of the top 3 places in the world to see Northern Lights). The photographer she is working with is a well-known Canadian wildlife specialist too, Dr. Wayne Lynch. http://waynelynch.ca/welcome.html
My colleague is reconfirming the last bits together on the pricing for the 2022 second week, but it looks like 6d, 5n for about $3600 Cdn/p for double and about $3900 Cdn for solo (excluding air, meals; including 3 Northern Lights Aurora viewing outings and some other special things). A winter gear package is available.

Adventure Canada Cancels 2021 Season

This is a sad result of Canada's announcement about extending closure of Canadian ports to 2022. Adventure Canada shuts down their season - a second year in a row.
Adventure Canada was the first to cancel 2020, with the closure of Canadian ports back in March 2020.
I really hope these guys can hang in there. Two years without revenue is brutal.
