In a world gone mad with CoVid, it's a welcome respite to learn about self-disinfecting ships. And Lindblad Expeditions leads the way.
Obviously, it got a lot of attention when Lindblad announced it - and it happened just prior to the global pandemic breaking out. Talk about good timing! Lindblad's Premium Purity going fleetwide seems like a stroke of genius right about now. But you can always expect Lindblad to be at the forefront of conservation initiatives with green cleaning and sanitizing. It's not well known to consumers, but I certainly know that without Lindblad, there'd be no Galapagos national park (as they paid
the salaries of the first naturalists). They have always been industry leaders.

Lindblad Expeditions has become the first self-disenfecting fleet in the cruise industry, according to a press release.
The company is rolling out Premium Purity fleetwide, a unique cleaning system which creates a cleaner, healthier ship while drastically reducing the impact on the environment, according to a statement. The roll out follows a one-year trial on the National Geographic Explorer..
