Hi there - welcome to my weekly Sunday newsletter.
This week, I was registered to do my 10th consecutive Virtuoso Travel Week in Vegas. Every second week of August, me and 5,000+ of my nearest and dearest friends would converge on the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas (and later spill over into the Aria and Vdara as well) for an exhausting but exhilarating week of learning, professional development, one-on-one meetings, in-depth destination trainings, networking, and schmoozing.
It was the most important week of my business year. It's where I connected with my colleagues, and learned what was emerging in the world of travel. It's where I was surrounded by the best-of-the-best cruise line, hoteliers, destination management companies, tour operators, and other travel advisors.
It's where I got both my energy and my renewed passion for the year ahead - inspired by what was ahead. And, it of course gave me oodles of ideas for my clients in their travels.

I recently participated on a U by Uniworld river cruise with a group of ladies, all organized by our Virtuoso agent Sheila Gallant-Halloran from Ottawa. We filled almost the entire boat, and had a fabulous 11 days together, with a pre-cruise stay in Budapest and afterwards half of us did an extension in Prague. We had a marvelous, worry-free vacation, thanks to the wonderful planning and execution by Sheila. I would
highly recommend her as a travel agent, and won’t hesitate to use her services again in the future.
