We're still talking about the PCR test for returning Canadians. There was some news this week about dropping the requirement for short trips. It makes day trips possible, but also removes the odd situation where Canadians could get a test at home before they went to the states, say - and it would work for their re-entry. Hopefully, more changes are coming. And, of course, science and data based recommendations of the government's own expert panel is driving us all to want the PCR test done away with.

The news was made last month by the CDC, ahead of the Nov. 8 reopening of the U.S. border, which confirmed that people who’ve received doses of two different COVID-19 vaccines will now qualify as fully vaccinated.
