5. Hotel Programs - and - Booking on Your Own versus using Advisor
|
Continuing articles in recent newsletters about why you should book through a travel advisor, rather than on your own - the above picture is just a sample of the preferred hotel and tour programs that I am a member of.
Of course, I can book hotels through Virtuoso (my luxury consortium) and get amenities and perks on your behalf.
But I also have access to preferred hotel programs through the hotel.
An example of one special one is the Four Seasons Preferred Partner program. It's perks are better than you booking on your own through Four Seasons, or even an Amex platinum or other booking. It's even better than me booking on your behalf through Virtuoso.

Join Sheila for a fun travel trivia game. Come join us for a friendly competition about travel trivia. See how much you know, and compete against other players.
Sheila will create another game to play on kahoot, so you'll need to either watch two windows on your laptop/ pc, or use two devices - one to see the questions asked with multiple choice answers given (or true or false), the other to enter your answer.
Kahoot games (once struck) will give you a pin to enter and play. That's entered on the second screen/ device to track your answers.

9. Travel with Sheila to Newfoundland
I'm just back from a quick visit to Newfoundland to see my mom. And the trip has made me even more excited about this upcoming group in September 2022, as well as the one in May 2023.
