As you likely know, I'm a proud Newfoundlander.
And as an ex-pat Newfoundlander, nothing made me more proud than to watch "Come From Away" on Apple TV this weekend.
My adopted home of Ottawa has been hurting and suffering intensely this past week. My adopted city of Ottawa is really in shock. We've had extremists and hatred filling our downtown core. I pray for a peaceful resolution.
So, watching (or re-watching) "Come From Away" was a welcome reprieve to the news.
I encourage you to watch the movie. It's fantastic and uplifting about a terribly dark time in the world.
It'll bring hope.
