Discover one of the oldest wine
regions in Italy Just an hour’s drive north of Venice, in the foothills of the Dolomites, is one of the best, though largely undiscovered, wine regions in the world. Here ancient terraced vineyards clinging to the sides of every possible slope are dedicated exclusively to grapes for Italy’s most prized sparkling wine: prosecco. Based in an elegant hotel, located in the heart of the so-called Prosecco Road – the oldest wine route in Italy – we
spend a week walking through rolling hills and sampling regional cuisine and sipping bubbly. We also visit charming medieval villages such as Cison, Follina, Asolo, plus the beautiful capital province of Treviso. HIGHLIGHTS - Enjoy quiet trails away from the crowds
- Taste authentic Italian prosecco and visit local producers
- Explore medieval villages and Treviso
- Stay in a comfortable hotel set in a picturesque location
WHAT'S INCLUDED - All breakfasts, four lunches, two dinners and
two wine tastings
- All accommodation
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED - Travel insurance

5Days of Walking & TrekkingPace: Leisurely; during the
day we walk for three to six hours (including lunch and photo stops). Terrain: The terrain and type of path will vary from man made paved tracks and tarmac to forest trails and dirt roads. Let me know if this might interest you.

4. Wellness Corner - Health Benefits of Wine
|
You could probably fine a myriad of studies to support whatever position you'd like to take, but https://www.winepros.org/wine-health-benefits/ firmly supports the health benefits of drinking
wine. Here's what they say: If you’ve
been concerned about whether drinking wine is a healthy choice, you can lay your worries to rest. Numerous studies have established the health benefits of drinking wine in moderate amounts. Wine is not only heart-healthy, but it also offers many
diverse health benefits that you may not even be aware of. An alcoholic drink made of grapes and fermented yeast, wine usually consists of water, alcohol, tannins, and acid that help give it a unique flavor and aroma. Although there are multiple varieties of wine, it is primarily categorized as red and white. Red wines usually have a rich taste and velvety finish, while white wines are known for
crisp and refreshing palates. Some of the most well-known wines are the Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and Syrah. Let us explore the different ways in which wines are beneficial for us. 1. Rich in AntioxidantsAntioxidants are compounds that help prevent damage to
the cells resulting from inflammation and oxidative stress. Wines, particularly red wine, are rich in antioxidants such as polyphenols, which have been shown to reduce inflammation and the possibility of heart disease. Moreover, red wine has also been proven to decrease the
risk of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease owing to the high concentration of antioxidants. Thus, if you are confused as to which wine to have, don’t hesitate to pick a glass of red wine as it will definitely help boost the antioxidant levels in your blood. 2. Decreases the Risk of
CancerOther than reducing the risk of inflammation and oxidative stress, the presence of antioxidants in wine is also effective in decreasing the risk of cancer. The grapes used to produce red wine contain
resveratrol, a polyphenol, or a plant-based compound that helps protect your cells from damage that can lead to cancer. However, the presence of resveratrol in wines does not mean that wine drinkers cannot be inflicted with cancer. Resveratrol only helps in reducing the probability of developing cancer. So consuming wine in
excess should always be avoided.

6. Come with Me to Greece
|
I’m headed to Greece with my family next July, and I'm inviting my clients to come along. My husband and I will act as the Azamara Virtuoso Voyages host for the July 8, 2023 sailing onboard the Azamara Quest, roundtrip Piraeus for a Greece Intensive Voyage, for 7 days.
I've already booked several clients to come along. Besides me being the Virtuoso voyage host, and able to provide you some very special perks -like an onboard reception, a special perk that's at least an onboard credit (but could be a special hosted excursion as well) - there's also right now a really special 2 category upgrade
right now. Which means you can get a balcony cabin for the price of an interior cabin. I've confirmed several V1 balcony cabins for $3,317 CAD/ adult, based on double occupancy (excluding air, transfers, and insurance).
