49% voted for Australia.

Most people dream of Australia as their ultimate vacation. And it's no wonder. It is a magical spot. However, it's also huge.  There is no way you will see it all, anymore than a first time visitor from Australia would see all of Canada or all of the US on a visit.

We had a marvellous time on our Peruvian Amazon river cruise .

One of my top travel memories is from 2018 is when I took my husband and youngest daughter to the Peruvian Amazon rainforest on a river cruise.

I remember being blown away by the stillness of the experience - having a marvelous time with no TVs or cellphones, but all the wildlife and birds and nature was amazing.

I even jumped in the Amazon for a swim, and later we were catching piranhas in that same water - we ate them for dinner (rather than them eating us).

It was an amazing experience, that I highly recommend.
