(Spain), launched the so-called “Bilbao effect” — the dramatic transformation of a former industrial city into a vibrant cultural hub. In his home of Canada, he reinvigorated the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto — turning a fragmented historic building into a modern, light-filled space that blends context and imagination.
